Yarrahapinni Wind Energy Association is a non profit community organisation committed to the promotion of the use of wind energy on the coast of NSW.

 

 

Objectives of our association:

 

To promote wind energy on the coast of NSW, Australia by:

  • Providing information to the public about the advantages of using wind as a clean, natural energy source.

  • Provide information to members and the general public about the installation and operation of wind turbines.

  • To research and provide information about financial incentives to people and groups intending to use wind energy (particularly small turbines) for power generation.

  • Lobby governments at all levels to encourage financial assistance for the wind industry, specifically grants for turbines and feedback tariffs for wind generated electricity.
